Jomtien Beach
Located south of Pattaya and divided by Pratamanak Hill from the main part of the city, Jomtien Beach with its Palm Trees Boulevard and its fine sandy beach stretches as far as your eyes can see.
Jomtien is "the place" to have fun for family vacationers and water sports enthusiasts.
It is foremost a residential area with a wide variety of restaurants, beachside hotels, condominiums and bungalow complexes. One can engage in an array of watersport activities, including jet skis, snorkeling, parasailing and small sail boat (Hobie Cat) rental.
The 56-story Pattaya Park tower is Jomtien's most visible landmark and is part of the Pattaya Park entertainment complex which also features a water park, roller coaster, monorail and children's activities. The Jomtien district is home to one of the largest resorts in Asia, the impressive 4000+ room Ambassador City Jomtien.
