The AIPP awards ceremony was held in London on March 26th 2010 at the Earls Court Exhibition Center. A nonprofit organization, the AIPP has been set up for one reason only: to improve standards of professionalism in this market. In a largely unregulated environment, AIPP Members voluntarily agree to follow a professional code of conduct. Being a member of the AIPP will tell the public that a company can be trusted, that it is professional, and that it follows the code of conduct established to help the consumer in choosing where to invest their money.

Among the judges was AIPP baord member Sue Ash, who announced the winners on the 26th of March and was at the ceremonies to congratulate all agencies and developers shortlisted. Regarding the awards Sue Ash commented: "The judges were impressed by the high quality of many of the entries and it was encouraging seeing that members are taking to heart the ethos of the AIPP and delivering high levels of customer care and service."
While in London Iguana Company also took the opportunity to visit one of the best known and highly respected real estate exhibitions run by 'A Place in the Sun' UK TV show and magazine. There the Iguana team personally met Amanda Lamb the host of Chanel 4 TV and Jasmine Harman from the popular 'Jasmine and Jonnie from 'A Place in the Sun: Home or Away TV show'. This was a great opportunity for Iguana Company to meet and discuss the opportunities of working together with 'A Place in the Sun' for those in the UK looking for property in Thailand.
